Concentration on the Intimate Through Prayer (Prayer)

When the mind has achieved absolute quietude and silence, it can concentrate on the Intimate; this concentration is done with the help of prayer. Pray to your Intimate, try to converse with the Intimate. Remember that praying is conversing with God. You can pray without formula, that is to say, talk to God; tell Him what your heart feels with infinite love.

Pater Noster - Our Father Also known as "The Prayer of the Lord." (Prayer)

It is recorded in scripture in the Bible, in Matthew 6:9–13 and Luke 11:2–4.

English:

"Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.

Thy kingdom come.

Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For Thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen."

Latin:

"PATER NOSTER, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum. Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris. Et ne nos inducas in tentationem, sed libera nos a malo. Amen."

Kabbalistic Interpretation:

"Our Father [Πτα - Ptah], who art in heavens. Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our supersubstantial bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. And don't let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one [the ego]. For thine is Malkuth, Geburah and Hod for ever and ever. Amen.

"Among all of the ritual prayers, the most powerful is the Our Father (Pater Noster, also known as the Prayer of the Lord). This is a magical prayer of immense power.

"The heart chakra develops with Meditation and the most profound prayer. We advise you to pray the Our Father. A well-prayed Our Father is equivalent to one hour of Meditation; pray, therefore, the Our Father for one hour. To pray is to converse with God. Hence, immerse yourself into a very profound slumber state and meditate very deeply, thus, converse mentally with God. Each phrase of the Our Father is a complete formula in order to talk to Him. So, while in a slumber state, meditate on the contents of each phrase, this is how the Father, who is in secret, can be seen and heard. This is how the heart chakra awakens." - Samael Aun Weor, The Divine Science

"It is necessary to learn how to pray the Pater Noster, to learn to converse with Brahma (the Father) who is in secret. A single Pater Noster, well-prayed and wisely combined with Meditation, is an entire work of High Magic. A single Pater Noster properly prayed is done in a period of one hour or in a little more than one hour. After the prayer, we must know how to await the reply of the Father and this means to know how to meditate, to have the mind still and in silence, empty of all thoughts, awaiting the reply of the Father." - Samael Aun Weor, Practical Astrology

Apostles’ Creed (Prayer)

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Gnostic Church, the Communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Practice to Help Discover Your Defects (Psychology and Self-Knowledge-Mediation-Prayer)

A man, after having studied himself discovered that he had twelve defects that were bothering him. This man said, “Just as it is impossible to catch ten hares at the same time, because the hunter who wants to try this would not catch any, so is it also impossible to do away with my twelve defects at the same time.” This man arrived at the conclusion that it would be better to catch one hare and then another, first to do away with one defect and then another. Therefore he decided to dedicate two months to each defect. After twenty-four months, this man no longer had the defects; he had done away with the twelve defects that hindered him from success. The result was marvelous. This man became the foremost citizen of the United States, his name: Benjamin Franklin. Imitate this person. Examine yourself and see how many defects you have, count them, number them. Then dedicate two months to each defect, successively, until you eliminate all of them.

Practice:

Sit in a comfortable chair and pray to your Internal God like this,

“You who are my true Being, you who are my Internal God, enlighten me, help me, make me see my own defects. Amen.”

Concentrate on this prayer until deep sleep arrives. Try to discover all your defects. We advise you to read the Bible. The word of the Divine Master is found in the four Gospels. There you will see the virtues that you need, there you will discover the virtues that you lack. Wherever a virtue is lacking, a defect exists.

Practice to Develop Clairvoyance (Prayer)

In front of a mirror, contemplate your face closely and then pray in this manner:

“My Soul, you should succeed. My Soul, you should overcome Satan. My Soul, take over my mind, my sentiments, my life. You should keep the Guardian of the Threshold far away from me. You should overcome him. You should take power over me totally. Amen. Amen. Amen.”

Say this prayer seven times and then observe in the mirror your eyes, your pupils, the center of your pupils, the retina of your eyes and imagine them charged with light, strength and power. It is necessary that you try to mentally penetrate the interior of your eyes reflected in the mirror. It is necessary for you to try to see with your imagination the center of those reflected eyes, the beauty of your soul. It is necessary for you to exclaim saying, “Oh, my soul! I want to see you, I want to see you, I want to see you.” Intensely persevere daily with this exercise. Do your exercise every night before going to sleep. With this exercise you will develop clairvoyance. Practice for ten minutes daily.That is all.

Aztec Prayer to the Divine Mother (Prayer-Dream Yoga)

Meditate upon her before falling asleep. Start your dreaming process by repeating daily with great faith the following:

 “Tonantzin, Teteoinan!, Divine Mother, come unto to me, come unto to me!”

-Samael Aun Weor

Prayer to Divine Mother (Prayer)

“Oh Divine Mother I am all yours, you are my only refuge and support. Protect me, guide

me, have pity on me.”

Divine Mother Invocation to Instruct in The Great Mysteries (Prayer-Mediation-Astral)

Brothers and sisters, pray and meditate a great deal to your Divine Mother Kundalini as follows:

INVOCATION:

“Oh Isis! Mother of the Cosmos, root of Love, trunk, bud, leaf, flower and Seed of all that exists;

we conjure Thee, naturalizing force. We call upon the Queen of Space and of the Night, and kissing her loving eyes, drinking the dew from her lips, breathing the sweet aroma of her body, we exclaim: Oh Thou, Nut! Eternal Seity of heaven, who art the primordial Soul, who art what was and what shall be,

whose veil no mortal has lifted, when Thou art beneath the irradiating stars of the nocturnal and profound sky of the desert, with purity of heart and in the flame of the serpent, we call upon Thee!”

Pray and meditate intensely. The Divine Mother teaches her children. This Prayer must be performed while combining Meditation with the state of slumber. Then as in visions of dreams, illumination emerges; thus the Divine Mother approaches the devotee in order to instruct him in the great mysteries.

Practice for Seeing and Hearing The Great Internal Realities  (Prayer-Astral)

The Lord's Prayer is the most perfect prayer because it has Seven Magical Petitions.

  1. "Our Father, who art in Heaven
  2. Hallowed be thy name
  3. Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven
  4. Give us this day our daily bread
  5. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us
  6. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
  7. For Thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen."

PRACTICE

Asana:

the student must lie down on the floor on a mat [a meditation or yoga mat].

The student can spread out his/her arms and legs to each side until the five pointed star is formed.

Relax all of your body, do not think about anything, set the screen of your mind to be blank,

concentrate your mind on your Inner God and start praying the Lord’s Prayer extremely slowly, and reflect on the sense of each petition.

Become drowsy, to reach a profoundly sleeping state while meditating upon each word, upon each phrase, worshiping… worshiping… worshiping…

The student must not move upon waking up… be motionless and practice a retrospective exercise in order to remember the internal experiences: remember where you were, what places you visited while in the Astral Space, what was done, what was seen, etc.

This practice must be performed as a daily habit without ever becoming weary. Seeing and hearing the great internal realities must be the goal.

To Perform Massages to Heal without Pain (Prayer-Health)

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, Most Holy Trinity, the three Divine Persons. Saint Blas ahead, Saint Peter behind. Saint Blas, if these words are good, then let the tendons and joints return to their place.

(Apply these words in the name of Jesus Christ.)

When Jesus Christ came to the world there were no injuries, no one maimed, no one lame, so let the injuries cease and Hail, Mary.

Pray the “Apostle’s Creed” three times. If the injury is not too severe, pray the “Apostle’s Creed” three times. However, if the injury is very bad, pray the “Apostle’s Creed” nine times. Rub menthol with salt onto the injury.

Prayer for Healing (Prayer-Health)

The Masters of the Holy Gnostic Church gather at the bed of the sick in order to heal them. A Gnostic Prayer exists, which every sick person must pronounce in order to ask the Masters for help. Behold, the prayer:

GNOSTIC PRAYER

Oh Thou, Solar Logos, igneous Emanation, substance and consciousness of Christ, powerful life where everything advances, come unto me and penetrate me, enlighten me, bathe me, go through me and awaken within my Being all of those ineffable substances that are as much a part of Thee as well as part of me.

Universal and cosmic force, mysterious energy, I conjure Thee, come unto me, remedy my affliction, cure me from this ill and put apart from me this suffering so I can have harmony, peace and health.

I ask Thee in thy sacred name which the Mysteries and the Gnostic Church have taught me, so Thou can make vibrate with me all of the mysteries of this plane and superior planes, and that all of those forces together may achieve the miracle of my healing. So be it.

Song of Angel Aroch for Spiritual Defense (Prayer)

Therefore, it is necessary for the students to learn how to defend themselves from these tenebrous nocturnal erotic attacks. To that effect, the Angel Aroch revealed a mantric chant to us, for personal defense against the tenebrous ones. Sing this mantric chant before going to sleep:

"Belilin... Belilin... Belilin... Amphora of salvation… I would like to be next to thee…Materialism has no power over me… Belilin... Belilin... Belilin..." - Angel Aroch.

Peace Prayer of St. Francis (Prayer)

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;

Where there is injury, pardon;

Where there is doubt, faith;

Where there is despair; hope;

Where there is darkness, light;

Where there is sadness, joy;

O Devine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;

To be understood as to understand; to beloved as love.

For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is dying that we are born to eternal life.

Gokan-no-ge (Prayer)

The “Five Reflections” or “Five Remembrances,” is from the Zen tradition.

First, let us reflect on our own work and the effort of those who brought us

this food.

Second, let us be aware of the quality of our deeds as we receive this meal.

Third, what is most essential is the practice of mindfulness, which helps us to transcend greed, anger and delusion.

Fourth, we appreciate this food which sustains the good health of our body and

mind.

Fifth, in order to continue our practice for all beings we accept this offering.
